Tim Eng is a West Point–educated combat engineer whose security mindset was forged while hardening forward operating bases in Iraq against rocket and IED attacks. After active duty, he translated those “defense-first” principles to civilian life, spending nearly two decades as a real-estate agent and federal project manager. Walking hundreds of properties—from Silicon Valley micro-lots to sprawling Appalachian farms—he developed an uncanny eye for vulnerabilities most buyers (and even inspectors) overlook, from driveway choke-points to topographic blind spots.
Today Tim, known as “The Homesteading Agent,” lives on a forty-acre Tennessee farm with his wife Sophie and their two high-agency daughters.
