You’ve probably seen rising food prices and wondered how people are supposed to keep up.
But what if, for just a few simple ingredients and a little know-how,
you could begin producing your own inputs—ones that grow food, build soil, and support your family’s health?
In this intimate, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn Korean Natural Farming through the lens of the kitchen, where fermentation, biology, and nourishment all begin.
This isn’t just about growing food.
It’s about understanding the system behind it.
Workshop registration closes May 10th
THIS IS FOR YOU, IF…
You want to grow food without relying on synthetic inputs
You care about soil health, fermentation, and real food
You’re looking for practical skills—not just theory
You want to build resilience for your home and family
You believe food and farming should work together—not separately
Build what you can't buy
You don’t need more products.
You need understanding.
When you know how to work with biology, you stop depending on systems that can fail.
This is where that starts.

Hi, friend! We're Tim and Sophia
authors, speakers, KNF-Certified practitioners
Sophia’s love for fermentation began in her Vietnamese-American upbringing, where food was memory, medicine, and connection. She learned Asian Natural Farming principles directly from her grandfather and mother where nothing was wasted and everything served a purpose, from the soil to the kitchen.
Tim’s path was shaped by working the land, developing a deep understanding of systems, stewardship, and resilience.
Since 2017, we’ve been applying Natural Farming techniques across every season of our life—from a quarter-acre urbanstead, to 5 acres in California, and now on our 40-acre farm in East Tennessee, where we use these methods in both our gardens and livestock.
Since 2022, we’ve trained under KNF practitioners and are now certified Korean Natural Farming (KNF) practitioners, with Tim also a certified Soilsmith, trained with Chris Trump to work with soil as a living system.
Together, we believe:
The kitchen and the land were never meant to be separate.
Sophia is the author of The Nourishing Asian Kitchen, and together we are co-authors of The Nourishing Asian Homestead (Fall 2026), continuing to bridge food, farming, and family.
We teach a closed-loop way of living—where what you grow, make, and nourish all work together… and where the same inputs used on your land are safe enough to be used in your kitchen.
We can’t wait to work alongside you.
